White Empeigue Bag

This 100% cotton bag is a Moustique creation. We named it "Empeigue" because the original print consists of traditional motifs, collected and redrawn by our illustrator Roxane Lagache. In the 19^th century, and at the beginning of the 20th, "empeigues" were small stenciled drawings, "empeigués" as they were called, printed on the walls of houses whose young conscripts had gone to war.

It measures 40 by 48 cm and consists of a single wide shoulder strap (65 cm long by 4 cm wide). It is available in white (with black empeignes) or blue (with white empeignes).
