Marie-Laure Chamorel has a passion for "handmade" work. This Duperré school graduate, who spent time in the workshops of Alaïa, Kenzo, and Balmain, knows exactly what she is talking about. In 2006, she created her jewelry line under her eponymous brand.

MOUSTIQUE was immediately won over by her "textile jewelry," as she calls it. Pieces of incredible delicacy, inspired by the broderie anglaise and lace she hunted for at flea markets in Paris and New York. She designs her pieces in Paris, in her workshop in the Marais, and has them made in Bali by local artisans.

This shimmering, braided ruthenium-plated silver tie necklace measures 80 cm long when unfolded. The dark gray color of the ruthenium metal gives a unique character to this piece. It is finished with long tassels of chains and rhinestones, 4 cm in length. The necklace can be worn as a single loop or as a scarf.
