The Barbotine workshop was founded 40 years ago and was recently taken over by two young pottery enthusiasts from Aubagne. They remain faithful to the spirit of the founder, Philippe Beltrando, and perpetuate the expertise and quality of traditional Provençal pottery. Each piece, whether a tian, daubière, or poumié,  has a specific function in Provençal cooking. 

Soft and rounded, practical and very easy to handle, this beautiful handmade object was created for serving hot drinks: teas, hot chocolates, grogs, herbal teas, and other infusions… Named the "Toupin," it appeared in Provence in the 16th century. It is the subject of popular expressions like "chaque toupin trouve sa cabucelle" (every pot finds its lid): every pot has its lid, everyone finds their match. It is equipped with a lid and a handle for pouring without burning yourself. The height, including the lid, is 21 cm.
