Description
Refined and poetic, Sharing necklaces have a soul and a story. Sharing, which means "sharing," was born from the meeting of Katia and three Tibetan nuns who were exiled in India after years of imprisonment in Lhasa for protesting against the Chinese occupation. In prison, they had learned to set fine stones using a simple thread. Now refugees in Belgium, they still create a portion of the Sharing jewelry. But Katia also draws inspiration from new encounters and new creations. A cooperative of Tibetan women and a family of Kashmiri artisans have since joined the Sharing family. Each piece of jewelry is unique, composed of faceted fine stones and thread. Length: 54 cm Stone dimensions: 2 cm x 1.5 cm
