mii stands for Made in India, a brand created by a duo, Lucie and Bapan, who met at the School of Decorative Arts. They set up their manufacturing workshop in northeast Bengal, defending and promoting these unique, ancestral skills that were in danger of disappearing. All weaving is done in villages on traditional looms.
The Rita La Provence bag is made of quilted cotton, with hand-embroidered patternsrepresenting the fruits, vegetables, and flowers of a Provençal market.
