Marie-Laure Chamorel has a passion for "handmade" work. A graduate of the Duperré school, with experience in the Alaïa, Kenzo, and Balmain workshops, she knows her craft. In 2006, she created her jewelry line under her eponymous brand.

MOUSTIQUE was immediately captivated by her "textile jewelry," as she calls it. Pieces of incredible delicacy, inspired by the broderie anglaise and lace she sourced at the flea markets of Paris and New York. She designs her pieces in Paris, in her Marais studio, and has them produced in Bali by local artisans.

This double-wrap bracelet is made of a grey grosgrain ribbon, delicately edged with ruthenium-finish brass chains; a row of vintage crystal beads with chrome reflections enhances the bracelet, which can also be worn as a choker.
