Marie-Laure Chamorel has a passion for "handmade" work. A graduate of the Duperré school, with experience in the ateliers of Alaïa, Kenzo, and Balmain, she knows her craft. In 2006, she launched her line of jewelry under her eponymous brand.

MOUSTIQUE was immediately won over by her "textile jewelry," as she calls it. Pieces of incredible delicacy, inspired by English embroidery and lace that she hunted for at flea markets in Paris and New York. She designs her pieces in Paris, in her Marais studio, and has them crafted in Bali by local artisans.
