Marie-Laure Chamorel has a passion for "handmade" work. This graduate of the Duperré School, who spent time in the workshops of Alaïa, Kenzo, and Balmain, knows what she is talking about. In 2006, she launched her jewelry line under her eponymous brand.

MOUSTIQUE was immediately won over by her "textile jewelry," as she calls it. Pieces of incredible delicacy, inspired by the English embroidery and lace she scavenged at flea markets in Paris and New York. She designs her pieces in Paris, in her studio in the Marais, and has them made in Bali by local artisans.
