Marie-Laure Chamorel has a passion for "handmade" work. A graduate of the Duperré school, with experience in the studios of Alaïa, Kenzo, and Balmain, she knows what she is talking about. In 2006, she created her jewelry line under her eponymous brand.

MOUSTIQUE was immediately captivated by her "textile jewelry," as she calls them. Pieces of incredible finesse, inspired by the broderie anglaise and lace she hunted for at flea markets in Paris and New York. She designs her pieces in Paris, in her Marais studio, and has them made in Bali by local artisans.
