Maison Bengal is a British social enterprise that manufactures its bags and rugs in Bangladesh, in collaboration with local fair trade organizations. It currently employs over 2,500 women across the country, enabling them to send their children to school thanks to decent wages. Since 2007, sales have also funded a rural clinic. All the brand's products are made of jute, hand-woven or macramé-knotted.
