Description
Refined and poetic, Sharing necklaces have a soul and a story. Sharing, which means "sharing," was born from the meeting of Katia and three Tibetan nuns, exiled in India after years of imprisonment in Lhasa for protesting against the Chinese occupation. In prison, they had learned to set semi-precious stones using simple thread. Now refugees in Belgium, they still craft a portion of the Sharing jewelry. But Katia also draws inspiration from new encounters and new creations. A cooperative of Tibetan women and a family of Kashmiri artisans have since joined the Sharing family.
Each piece of jewelry is a unique creation made of faceted semi-precious stones and thread.
