Marie-Laure Chamorel has a passion for "handmade" work. A graduate of the Duperré School, with experience at the Alaïa, Kenzo, and Balmain workshops, she knows what she is talking about. In 2006, she created her jewelry line under her eponymous brand.

MOUSTIQUE was immediately captivated by her "textile jewelry," as she calls it. Pieces of incredible finesse, inspired by the broderie anglaise and lace she sourced at flea markets in Paris and New York. She designs her pieces in Paris, in her studio in the Marais, and has them crafted in Bali by local artisans.
