Refined and poetic, Sharing necklaces have a soul and a story. Sharing, which means "partage," was born from the meeting of Katia and three Tibetan nuns, who were exiled to India after years of imprisonment in Lhasa for demonstrating against the Chinese occupation. In prison, they learned to set semi-precious stones using simple thread. Now refugees in Belgium, they still create a portion of Sharing jewelry. But Katia also draws inspiration from new encounters and new creations. A Tibetan women’s cooperative as well as a family of artisans from Kashmir have joined the Sharing family. Each piece of jewelry is a unique creation composed of faceted semi-precious stones and thread.
