STRAW HAT 10 CM
Description
The Barbotine workshop
was founded 40 years ago and was recently taken over by two young people
passionate about Aubagne pottery. They remain faithful to the spirit of the founder,
Philippe Beltrando, and perpetuate the expertise and quality of traditional
Provençal pottery. Each piece—tian, daubière, or poumié— has a specific function in Provençal
cuisine.
The tian, also known as a bugadière, is a very ancient piece of popular Provençal pottery. In the past, it was used for everything, from transporting laundry to the washhouse to bathing a baby! Today, it is useful in the kitchen for mixing ingredients, preparing pastries, setting aside cooked dishes... And on the table, it serves as a salad bowl with elegant rusticity, perfectly suited to Provençal and Mediterranean cuisine. The diameter of this model is 10 cm.
