15CM STRAW HAT
Description
The Barbotine workshop was established 40 years ago and was recently taken over by two young enthusiasts of Aubagne pottery. They remain faithful to the spirit of the founder, Philippe Beltrando, and perpetuate the craftsmanship and quality of traditional Provençal pottery. Each piece—whether a tian, daubière, or poumié—has a specific function in Provençal cuisine.
The tian, also known as a bugadière, is a very old type of popular Provençal pottery. In the past, it was used for everything, from carrying laundry to the washhouse to bathing a baby! Today, it is useful in the kitchen for mixing ingredients, preparing pastries, or holding cooked food... And on the table, it serves as a salad bowl with elegant rusticity, perfectly suited to Provençal and Mediterranean cuisine. The diameter of this model is 15 cm.
