20CM STRAW HAT
Description
The Barbotine workshop was created 40 years ago and was recently taken over by two young enthusiasts of Aubagne pottery. They remain faithful to the spirit of the founder, Philippe Beltrando, and perpetuate the expertise and quality of traditional Provençal pottery. Each piece, whether a *tian*, *daubière* (stewpot), or *poumié* (oil jar), has a precise function in Provençal cooking.
The *tian*, also known as a *bugadière*, is a very old, popular type of Provençal pottery. In the past, it was used for everything, from carrying laundry to the washhouse to bathing a baby! Today, it is useful in the kitchen for mixing ingredients, preparing pastries, or holding cooked dishes... And on the table, it makes for a rustic yet elegant salad bowl, perfectly suited to Provençal and Mediterranean cuisine. The diameter of this model is 20 cm.
