Description
The Barbotine workshop was founded 40 years ago and was recently taken over by two young enthusiasts of Aubagne pottery. They remain faithful to the spirit of the founder, Philippe Beltrando, and perpetuate the expertise and quality of traditional Provençal pottery. Each piece, whether a tian, daubière, or poumié, has a specific function in Provençal cooking.
The tian, also known as a bugadière, is a very ancient piece of popular Provençal pottery. In the past, it was used for everything, from carrying laundry to the washhouse to bathing a baby! Today, it is useful in the kitchen for mixing ingredients, preparing pastries, or setting aside cooked dishes... And on the table, it makes for a salad bowl with elegant rusticity, perfectly suited to Provençal and Mediterranean cuisine. The diameter of this model is 24 cm.
