Description
The Barbotine workshop was founded 40 years ago and was recently taken over by two young enthusiasts of Aubagne pottery. They remain faithful to the spirit of the founder, Philippe Beltrando, and perpetuate the expertise and quality of traditional Provençal pottery. Each piece, whether a tian, stewpot, or poumié,  has a specific function in Provençal cooking. 

Soft and rounded, practical and very easy to handle, this beautiful handmade item was created for serving hot drinks: teas, hot chocolates, grogs, herbal teas, and other infusions… Named "Toupin," it appeared in Provence in the 16th century. It is the basis for popular expressions like “chaque toupin trouve sa cabucelle”: every pot has its lid, every Jack has his Jill. It is equipped with a lid and a handle for pouring without burning yourself. The height, with the lid, is 21 cm.
